Reservations

When considering treatment at the Indiana University Health Proton Therapy Center, patients are typically given information about the diverse Housing Options available to them in Bloomington. While Jill's House does not claim to be a "one size fits all" for everyone's lifestyle, we find that individuals, couples and families are drawn to this unique residential situation for a variety of reasons. For some, it's the opportunity to comfortably balance personal privacy with social interaction. For others, it's the beautiful, spacious, clean, homey environment in a peaceful wooded setting. Many families are attracted to the child-friendly design and the community of doting adults. Underground parking, key card access, and in-house elevator service are plusses to some, while others appreciate being able to walk to their daily proton treatment appointments in less than 10 minutes. And everyone loves the safety, security and close proximity to all things Bloomington.

For information about Jill's House accommodations and availability, interested patients can contact a staff member (Susan Dabkowski, Jo Ann Frogue or Janice Conder) via email, telephone, or a personal visit. Director Dabkowski strongly encourages an on-site visit to tour and talk before confirming a reservation. Guided tours are offered Monday through Friday, 9AM to 5PM; no appointment is necessary.  But the process can be started online. Simply print and complete the Reservation Request document, then fax, mail or deliver it to Jill's House.

Jill's House also offers short term stays - two nights minimum - for a daily rate of $50/night for standard rooms and $60/night for deluxe rooms.  Examples of this situation would include:  visiting friends or family of a patient residing at Jill's House; potential proton patients coming to Bloomington for their pre-treatment appointments;  family or friends traveling to Bloomington to visit someone in the Meadowood Health Pavilion;  family or friends of an inpatient at Bloomington Hospital or in Hospice Care.  A special Room Reservation form is available for visitors who are not patients of the Proton Therapy Center.
